Includes board, plus training, along with 1-2 scheduled lessons per week (with your horse in training, non-transferable. Additional lessons are available on lesson horses at the regular lesson price. See below for cost of lessons on lesson horses). Horses are worked a minimum of five days a week with a personalized training program designed just for them. Each horse is treated as an individual and we work hard to bring out the best in each horse while working to achieve each owner/riders dreams and goals. We encourage our owners/riders to be involved and commit to riding 1-2 times per week to ensure they are both ready to hit the show ring and have some fun.
Tiny Tot Riders - 5 and under
$180 - One weekly lesson per month
$340 - Two weekly lessons per month
Beginner Riders - Walk/Trot Riders
$200 - One weekly lesson per month
$380 - Two weekly lessons per month
Intermediate Riders - Walk/Trot/Canter
$225 - One weekly lesson per month
$400 - Two weekly lessons per month
Hour includes time necessary for tacking and untacking the horse. (Actual ride time is 30 for beginners, 45 minutes for intermediates. Tiny Tot lesson riders will ride for 20 minutes and groom for the remaing 10 minutes.)
***We are excited to offer a new montly enrollment based program due on the 1st of each month. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. Your credit card will be charged each month automatically, to cancel your enrollment Timber Creek Stables must receive written notice 15 days prior to monthly reenrollment. Cancelations of lessons must be made 2 hours prior to your class to schedule a makeup lesson, or your lesson will be forfeited and no makeup lesson given. Makeup lessons must be made within the same month they are canceled, they will not roll over each month.
Our show teams are for riders who take a minimum of 8 lessons per month and have a desire to hit the show ring. We have two different options as outlined below.
- Academy/Tournament Show Team
Academy/Tournament riders are required to take a minimum of 8 lesson a month and can participate in horse shows on Timber Creek horses. This team is for riders that are new to showing, they are not required to wear complete suits and outfits, this is entry level showing.
- Show Riders
This is for riders who wish to half lease a Timber Creek Stables owned horse, full lease a horse, or purchase a horse of their own to show, and take a minimum of 8 lessons per month. These riders are required to wear full show outfits and will compete at breed shows on the A Circuit.
